The problem is discovering these sales. You can't examine every app inside app store daily. This article will give you some tips on finding free apps and apps that carry on sale.
One place to start looking free of charge apps is in iTunes itself. iTunes has a top 50 listing of free apps in the Applications section of the iTunes store and within the App Store app on your own iPad. It is worth looking at and seeing if you will find any free apps you would be interested in downloading. AppAdvice can be a website and app that does not only mentions apps that are on sale but also gives a daily list of apps which can be now free. This makes it an ideal place for locating free iPad apps. The AppAdvice app costs $1.99, however.
Another app that lets you track the prices of an app is BargainBin. BargainBin enables you to set the retail price you'd like to buy an app you're interested in. If the app drops to that particular price or below BargainBin will give you a push notification on your iPad. You can then decide to buy or otherwise not. I have used this app for a while and found it to be very useful when it worked. However, it absolutely was very slow occasionally and even crashed often. You might have better luck than me.
There are a couple of other apps readily available for your iPad that serve exactly the same purpose as BargainBin, but I haven't found one that worked as well (if it works).
